We have listed our most frequently asked questions so that you may get a quick, immediate response. Account Assistance How do I create an account? Select "create an account" from the top right hand corner. Once there fill in information such as name, telephone number, address, etc. Once you have created your account and received the message at top of screen that "your account was created successfully" you may begin shopping. How do I update my address on my account? At the bottom left-hand corner of our webpage you will see a section for "Customer Help". You will need to select "Account Info" and then change the information needed. Select "Update Account" so your changes will be saved. How can I subscribe/unsubscribe to your mailing list? To subscribe to our mailing list simply put your email address into the "Join Our Mailing List" section on the left side of our webpage. Once you put your email address in, select submit. The next screen will ask you if you would like to receive the BonWorth.com Weekly Newsletter. This newsletter lets you know about great sales and important events. Once you select this option, click submit. To unsubscribe you will follow the same steps above. Instead of selecting to receive you will need to select "I don't want any emails from BonWorth.com" and click submit. What if I forgot my password? If you have forgotten your password, click "login" from the top right hand corner. Scroll down to the "Forgot Your Password" section and type in your email address. Select submit and a temporary password will be sent to the email address you have entered. Please make sure that the email address you have entered is the original email address you used when creating your account. What do I do with the temporary password? Once you have received your temporary password, click login on our webpage. Enter the email address and use the "temp" password as the password when logging in. This will bring you to a different screen asking you to enter the "old" password and your "new" password. The "old" password is actually the "temp" password emailed to you. The new password will be what you create; this will need to be at least 5 characters long. Make sure to write your password down for future reference. Is your website a secure site? BonWorth values you as a customer and respects your privacy. We collect certain information that allows us to customize and enhance your shopping experience and to communicate with you about our products. We are committed to managing this information responsibly so that you are in control of your personal information on the communications you receive from us. Data and Credit Card Security BonWorth takes the security of your information very seriously. Our online store includes a variety of technical, administrative and physical safeguards so that you can enjoy your shopping experience without having to worry about your personal information. We use industry leading Network Solutions encryption technology to ensure information transmitted to our online store is safe and secure. We will gladly accept your orders online or by phone at 1-800-355-5131. Our customer service hours for phone orders are Monday thru Friday, 7:00 am to 7:00 pm EST. Your BonWorth account number is password-protected for your privacy and security. We will never ask for your password in an unsolicited phone call or email. You are responsible for maintaining the secrecy of your password and account information. Remember to sign out of your BonWorth account and close your browser window when you have completed your shopping to help ensure that others cannot access your personal information. The key values by which BonWorth has conducted business since 1976 are Honesty and Integrity. We do not sell or lend our customer list to other parties. If you have any questions regarding our commitment to your privacy, please call the above customer service number. We will respond to you promptly. When will my credit card be charged? Credit card transactions normally post to your card within two (2) business days. How quickly the charges appear on your account is determined by your credit card company. BonWorth's charge transaction is immediately and automatically sent to the credit card company at the time of sale. Order Information How can I change or cancel my order? You are able to change or cancel your order after you place it only if the order has not been pulled and packed for shipping. If you would like to make a change, call 1-800-355-5131. Please have your order number available. How do you handle "Out of Stock" items already placed on an order? Once an order is placed there are times that we may not have the size in stock. There may be a chance with our "sale/clearance" items that you may see this. If an item is not in stock we will call and/or email the customer as soon as possible. We have a few choices of what to do when this happens. 1. Credit the cost of the item back to the credit card 2. Select a different size in the same style 3. Select a completely different item Keep in mind that a credit takes 1-2 billing cycles to appear on your credit card statement. If you select to receive a different item, the cost of the item may change. If the new item is less expensive we will credit the difference. If the item is more expensive than the original we will need to collect the credit card number again to process the difference (this is the ONLY time we will call a customer and ask for a credit card number). If you do not feel comfortable doing this you may call us back to give the credit card number. What type of payments do you accept? We accept Visa, Master Card, and Discover. When will I receive an order confirmation? Once the order is placed BonWorth will send an email confirmation with a breakdown of the order. You will be given your order number and customer number. Please make sure to keep your order number for future questions. You will receive a second email once the package is shipped giving you your tracking number to track your package. How can I track my order? The second email that we send includes a tracking number and a link to FedEx.com website. Click on the link in the email and you will be able to track your package. You may also go to FedEx.com and select "track package" and enter in the tracking number. How will my order be shipped? We ship our packages via FedEx. The standard shipping method is FedEx SmartPost. Your package is routed through FedEx and then given to your local Post Office and delivered by your local postal carrier.
If the state you are shipping to requires a state sales tax on clothing then you will pay that tax. The correct amount will automatically be added to your invoice. Can I phone/fax/mail an order? If you prefer to order off-line, your order is always welcome. For faster service call BonWorth Order Line at 1-800-355-5131. Our customer service is open 7:00 am - 7:00 pm EST, Monday thru Friday. At this time we are not set up to accept faxed orders. How do I return an item? BonWorth makes returns and refunds easy. You may receive a refund by shipping the merchandise back to BonWorth or by returning the merchandise in person to one of our store locations. We gladly provide full refunds of the purchase price when merchandise is returned in original condition with the original payment receipt within 45 days. We will use the credit card information on the original payment receipt to promptly issue full credit to the purchasing credit card. We do not refund shipping charges. Online exchanges are not available at this time. However, you may exchange an online purchase at one of our retail stores. To Be Returned By Mail Ship merchandise to the address below with the following information: Your name, address, phone number and the specifics of your refund request. Following is the return policy for returning items to a BonWorth store location. With A Receipt We will refund merchandise if returned within 45 days with a receipt. On purchases made with a check, refunds or due bills will only be issued 10 business days after the date of purchase. Without A Receipt Exchanges or store credit will be given at current selling price if returned within 45 days. Gift Certificates How do I purchase a gift certificate? You can purchase a gift certificate at any of our BonWorth stores or by calling our customer service department at 1-800-355-5131. How do I redeem a gift certificate? You can redeem your gift certificate at our local BonWorth stores. At this time we are not setup to redeem them online. How long is my gift certificate good for? A gift certificate is good one year from the date of purchase. Fabric/Fit Inquiries What is your sizing like? You can find our size chart by scrolling down to the bottom of our homepage. Our size chart is located under "Customer Help". We do offer fuller more generous sizing in easy to care for fabrics. I have a question about your fabric? You can find our fabric glossary by scrolling down to the bottom of our homepage. The glossary is located under "Stores and Shopping". Miscellaneous: When is your customer service open? Our customer service center is open 7:00 am - 7:00 pm EST, Monday thru Friday. We do have a voicemail setup if you need to reach us outside of those hours. Please make sure to leave your name and a good contact number so we may call you back. How can I find where my closest BonWorth store is located? To locate our stores nationwide you can use our "Store Locator" on our homepage. Just type in the state that you are looking for and click submit.
